This Beef Ragu Pasta is a comforting, homestyle dish that’s quick and easy enough for weeknight dinners yet full of rich, satisfying flavour.

Juicy beef mince is cooked with fragrant garlic, onion, and Italian herbs, then simmered in a robust tomato sauce that’s enhanced with a touch of stock for depth.

Ingredients

• 225g Pasta

• 1 Tablespoon Olive oil

• 500g Beef mince

• ½ Onion, chopped

• 2 Cloves garlic, minced

• 1 ½ Teaspoons Italian seasoning

• 1 Tablespoon Instant stock powder (chicken or beef)

• 1 Can Crushed Tomatoes

• 1 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated

• 1 Tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped

• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain well and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Stir in garlic, stock powder, and Italian seasoning, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Add mince and cook until the meat is browned and no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Crumble the beef as it cooks and drain any excess fat.

5. Stir in crushed tomatoes. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes.

6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Stir the cooked pasta into the sauce.

7. Stir in chopped parsley and grated parmesan until melted. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
