These Beef Skewers are a simple and flavour-packed summer favourite, perfect for backyard BBQs or casual dinners.

Tender sirloin steak is marinated in a savoury blend of olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and spices, infusing each bite with rich, smoky flavour.

Colourful capsicums and red onion threaded alongside the beef add freshness, crunch, and visual appeal.

Quick to prepare and easy to grill, these skewers are ideal for entertaining friends and family.

Serve them hot off the grill with your favourite sides for a satisfying, crowd-pleasing meal that’s as delicious as it is fun to make.

Ingredients:

• 700g sirloin steak

• 2 capsicums

• 1 large red onion

• ½ C olive oil

• ¼ C Worcestershire sauce

• 2 Tbsp soy sauce

• 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

• 1 Tbsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp onion powder

• 1 Tbsp honey

• ½ tsp chilli powder (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cut steak, onions, and capsicums into equal size pieces.

2. In a large container, stir together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and onion powder, honey and chilli powder if using.

3. Add steak to container and marinate for at least one hour.

4. If using wooden skewers, soak for 10 minutes before skewering steak and vegetables.

5. Preheat grill to medium-high.

6. Skewer steak cubes and vegetables, alternating to your preference.

7. Place skewers directly on grill and cook for 3-4 minutes before flipping; cook for another 3-4 minutes.

8. Allow to rest before serving.
